Similar to previous campaigns by the headphones brand that’ve paired with large-scale events such as the Super Bowl and the World Cup, the latest pushes its #SoloSelfie concept. The ad featuring the newly reunited Swedish DJ is (in tradtional Beats fashion) star-studded, featuring everyone from Kendall and Kylie Jenner to Nicki Minaj and 2 Chainz, as well and the duo themselves. Spoiler alert: signature headphones-across-the-forehead appearance from Axwell. In interest to their upcoming music, “Something New” fits the promo’s production and its connectively concept perfectly, making for 60 seconds of a preview enough to not only warrant excitement for the record, but to decide it is time to take the partnership of Axwell Λ Ingrosso as more than just a Swedish House Mafia spin-off.
