About months ago, when "Animals" producer Martin Garrix was looking to close his Ultra Music Festival set with a big track, he reached back for "Gold Skies," his at-that-point unreleased collaboration with DVBBS and Sander van Doorn. "Alex and Chris from DVBBS came with first idea for the track," Garrix told Rolling Stone. "When they played the melody and sang the vocals, Sander and I immediately fell in love. "'Gold Skies' was the first song we wrote when we moved in to our Los Angeles house," DVBBS mentioned. "Essentially, our studio was the only room with furniture." The duo then sent their demo to Spinnin' Records, who connected them with Garrix and van Doorn. "We were so ecstatic because we're such huge fans of Sander's and Martin's work". Just released today, "Gold Skies" is the perfect summer anthem and we can promise you that this track will take the Beatport #1 spot in no time.
